Before You Apply

The University of Wisconsin School of Pharmacy accepts approximately 150 students each year to the Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) program. Admission to this professional program is competitive and is based on 10 admission selection criteria.

The PharmD program does not have an explicit minimum GPA requirement. The GPA range for the entering class Fall 2018 was 2.8 - 4.0. The average GPA for the Fall 2018 entering class was 3.5. Before entry into the PharmD program, satisfactory completion of all pre-pharmacy (prerequisite) coursework is required. Prerequisite coursework may be completed in the summer before entry into the School of Pharmacy.
